In Memoriam - Woody

Woody was our beloved next-door office cat, born in 2025 and adopted from the Animal Care Shelter for Kent County. His name was a playful nod to the construction company beside us, where he lived, but Woody quickly became a familiar face at the Cat Colloquium, too. Through the “secret” entrance, he would come over often to visit all of his pals — both human and feline alike.

Woody had a full zest for life and brought so much joy to everyone who met him. He loved exploring, playing with toys (especially Cat Dancers!), and navigating the climbing wall boxes like a pro. Friendly to everyone he encountered, he was especially adored by our younger visitors and became a favorite of many kids. Woody was simply so much fun — the kind of cat who could turn an ordinary day into an adventure just by showing up. He is very much missed and will always be remembered with a smile.
